Autism Action Inc. is an approved Public Benevolent Institution, Incorporated in Australia in April 1999 to support children with autism and related learning disorders and their families by:

1. Promoting Precision Teaching programs which develop
   1. Communication and Language Skills
   2. Academic & Cognitive Skills
   3. Gross and fine Motor Skills
   4. Social Skills
2. Providing opportunities for parents to network
3. Assisting schools and child care centers to access information on effective treatment programs for Autism
4. Promoting public awareness of Autistic Disorder and the available treatments
5. Promoting research and understanding for Precision Teaching Programs and other effective treatments
6. To provide research and teaching centers for children with Autism and related learning disorders
7. Undertaking such tasks that lead to or are incidental to the attainment of any of the above objectives

Autism Action Funding

Autism Action Inc. (Australia) presently does not receive any form of Government assistance, however, we will continue to make submissions and requests until such time we are acknowledged.

To date, our revenue has been derived from donations, fund raising activities and buying and selling of commodity products. We have in place a scrap metal collection service, which includes mine shut downs, demolition's and we collect small Share Parcels that are marketable. Within these nominated areas we are able to offer the donors substantial Taxation Benefits. Depending upon the Financial Trading of the respective donor, it will be more beneficial for them to utilize our services to sell the products than it is for them to sell the products in the market. At all times we aim to give optimum advantage to the donor. We have been able to secure the services of two well reputed Scrap Metal Merchants who have in excess of 30 years experience and we can confidently assure the very best of service. We also provide Financial Services for any of your Financial requirements. Our financial consultants have individually in excess of 25 years Banking and finance experience, and are accredited with nine (9) major lending institutions. Any transaction negotiated via AAI, the association will receive %10 of the commissions paid.

Membership

Membership of the foundation is open to any persons over the age of 18 years, Cooperates, Organizations and Sporting Bodies who wish to support 'Approved Learning Programs' for the Academic and Social Advancement of Children with Autism and other related Learning Disorders. Annual membership fee is $20.00
